Namen von Weinregionen, die man vor ein paar Monaten nicht mal aussprechen konnte, sind heute in aller Munde und die Fachpresse lobt und berichtet über neue Stars am spanischen Weinhimmel.
Tatsächlich bietet Spanien eine der interessantesten, revolutionärsten und vielfältigsten Weinszenen dieser Welt und verknüpft diese gekonnt mit der sympathischen spanischen Lebensart und einer neu definierten, katalanisch beeinflussten, Gastronomie. Der Verbraucher findet im spanischen Wein Anspruch und Eleganz, aber auch eine Reife mit ausgewogener Frucht und das zu fortwährender Qualität, oft zum günstigeren Preis.
Wir haben uns auf das Anbaugebiet Aragonien mit Borja konzentriert. Ein Gebiet welches mit seinen Weinen auch von Parker häufig ausgezeichnet worden ist. In diesem trockenen, heißen Gebiet kommen Grenache-, oder auch Garnacha-Reben genannt, besonders zur Geltung, die bekannt sind.
