Bordeaux richtig trinken – Tipps um Trink-Vergnügen zu steigern. Der Bordeaux ist nicht nur irgendein Wein. Nein, er gehört zu den besten und teuersten Qualitätsweinen, die es zu kaufen gibt und ist auf der ganzen Welt bekannt. In diesem Sinne stellen wir Ihnen hier verschiedene Techniken vor, wie Sie Ihren Bordeaux Wein am besten genießen können:
Die optische Prüfung
Bei der optischen Prüfung Ihres Bordeaux Weines achten Sie darauf das Glas am Stiel oder Fuß und nicht am Korpus zu halten, denn sonst wird einerseits die Farbe verdeckt und andererseits die Temperatur des Weines verändert (Über die richtige Trinktemperatur eines Bordeaux Weines)
Halten Sie den Bordeaux nun gegen eine Lichtquelle. Durch das durchscheinende Licht können Farbton und die Intensität der Farbe am besten überprüft und bestimmt werden. Um den Farbschimmer, die Klarheit und den Glanz am besten beurteilen zu können, halten Sie den Bordeaux Wein über eine weiße Fläche und neigen Sie das Glas leicht zur Seite. Anhand der Oberfläche können die Kriterien dann überprüft werden.
Die Geruchsprüfung
Halten Sie das Glas still und schwenken Sie es vorerst noch nicht, bevor Sie sich einen Eindruck von seinem Geruch machen. Was Sie jetzt wahrnemen ist die Qualität des Bordeaux Weines und seine Intensität. Zusätzlich können Sie auf diese Weise die flüchtigen Aromen wahrnehmen.
Im Anschluss dürfen Sie Ihren Bordeaux sanft schwenken, damit er belüftet wird. Halten Sie Ihn anschließend wieder an Ihre Nase. Durch die Schwenkbewegung werden die zuvor wahrgenommenen Aromen gebündelt, sodass eine neue Komposition an Aromen freigelassen werden konnte.
Die Geschmacksprüfung
Ein kleiner Schluck Bordeaux sollte genügen, um seinen Geschmack zu prüfen. Bewegen Sie den Schluck im Mund und spielen Sie mit Ihm, dadurch können Sie die allgemeine Harmonie des Weines wahrnehmen und sich ein Bild von den ersten Geschmackseindrücken machen.
Nun folgt die sogenannte Retro-Olfaktion. Während Sie den Schluck Ihres Bordeaux Weines noch immer im Mund haben, ziehen Sie ein wenig Luft durch die Lippen in den Mund und atmen Sie diese anschließend durch die Nase wieder aus. Durch diese Technik kann eine bessere Entscheidung zwischen den einzelnen Aromen erfolgen. Zusätzlich werden weitere Geschmacksknospen angesprochen.
Zur Bestimmung der aromatischen Länge des Bordeaux im Mund, spucken Sie den Wein wieder aus und achten darauf, wie viel Zeit vergeht bis der Geschmack nachlässt. Die Einheit dieser Zeit wird in „Caudalies“ gemessen (Ein Cuadalie entspricht einer Sekunde).
Nehmen Sie nun einen weiteren Schluck Bordeaux in den Mund und überprüfen Sie seinen Abgang. Ein positiver Abgang ist ein wichtiges Qualitätskriterium für seinen Geschmack, denn der letzte Eindruck ist derjenige, der am längsten im Gedächtnis bleibt.
